| Pursuant To The Year 2000 Information and Readiness Disclosure Act |
| Public Law 105-271 (105th Congress, 1998) |

G & T Trading International Corporation ("G & T") is making this Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure Statement in order to encourage the disclosure and exchange of information about computer processing problems, solutions, test practices and test results, and related matters in connection with the transition to the Year 2000. This Statement summarizes the status of G & T's Year 2000 Compliance. All references herein to Year 2000 Compliance mean the successful processing (including calculating, comparing, sequencing, displaying, or storing), transmitting, or receiving of date data from, into, and between the 20th and 21st centuries, and during the years 1999 and 2000, and leap year calculations. G & T is concerned about the potential impact on its business interests of Year 2000 Compliance problems and is committed to taking steps to identify potential Year 2000 Compliance risks and to addressing them. G & T has carefully considered the impact that Year 2000 Compliance problems may have on its business information systems and applications that may likely be affected by Year 2000 Compliance problems ("the System(s)") and has developed a project plan which seeks to maximize the Systems' Year 2000 Compliance. G & T has inventoried its Systems. G & T has a dedicated team which is currently evaluating and testing the Systems, including technology environments such as operating systems, system software and hardware, interfaces with external entities, and facility equipment to verify each System's Year 2000 Compliance. After taking inventory of the Systems that may be affected, G & T has been determining the extent of each System’s compliance. If a System will function correctly with a four-digit year stamp, it will be marked as compliant. If a System is not compliant but can be upgraded or reprogrammed, G & T will modify and test the system. Systems that cannot be made compliant before January 1, 2000 will be replaced or discontinued and replaced with a manual process. G & T expects to test and, if appropriate, verify the Systems' Year 2000 Compliance by October 1999. G & T has also been polling its other third party vendors and suppliers to ascertain the status of their Year 2000 Compliance. If a vendor will not be Year 2000 Compliant, G & T will use another vendor where feasible. G & T has not yet received responses from all vendors. G & T has relied on the good faith of its vendors to make full and accurate Year 2000 Compliance disclosures and, therefore, cannot be 100% certain that they all are or will be Year 2000 Compliant. Because of this, G & T has initiated a recovery planning exercise which has as its objective the formalization of manual workarounds in the event of problems. We believe this recovery effort will enable us to continue normal or near normal business operations even if Systems efforts or third party vendors fail. This is part of G & T’s larger effort to implement a contingency plan to enable normal business functions in the event that Year 2000 Compliance problems develop in January 2000 or thereafter. This Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure Statement is a summary of G & T's Year 2000 Compliance as of October 12, 1999. This Statement is a replacement for any prior statements made by G & T regarding Year 2000 compliance. This Statement will be updated periodically on G & T's website, http://www.gttrading.com/. Requests for hard-copy updates of this Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure Statement or any other inquiries regarding G & T's Year 2000 Compliance should be sent in writing to: |
